Her skillset spans a wide range of medical aesthetics, including facials, back facials, chemical peels, microneedling, dermaplaning, microdermabrasion, and advanced treatments such as galvanic, thermolysis, and blend electrolysis hair removal techniques. She is also trained in laser physics and certified as a Laser Safety Officer (LSO), ensuring the highest standards of safety and efficacy in every procedure.
In addition to skincare and hair removal, Makayla is experienced in brow lamination, lash lifts and tints, waxing, radiofrequency treatments, LED/microcurrent therapy, and high-frequency facial rejuvenation. Her knowledge of hydrafacial techniques and hydrojelly masks further complements her ability to tailor treatments to individual client needs.
Makayla’s career journey reflects her versatility and leadership skills. For over a decade, she managed Studio Fuzion Dance Company, overseeing a team of eleven employees while handling financial management, marketing, customer service, operations, and compliance. Her earlier roles in banking and retail management—at Regions Bank and Dooney & Bourke—sharpened her expertise in business growth, client relations, and operational excellence.
A graduate of the Beauty & Health Institute with an Associate’s Degree in Medical Aesthetics, Makayla holds certifications in modalities, equipment & safety, medical errors, HIV prevention, and facial massage. She is also a licensed Laser Safety Officer and brings a meticulous, safety-first approach to every treatment.
